While at this time we are willing to accept some warranty work with various companies it is important for customers to understand a few factors:
-
Having a warranty does not mean the entire cost will be covered by the OEM/ warranty company.
-
Most companies do not reimburse service call fees for mobile tech work; these fees will be the responsibility of the customer.
-
Warranty work can involve multiple trips to customers unit for diagnostics to satisfy warranty claim. The customer will be responsible for fees accrued.
-
A majority of warranty work is paid at a set flat rate of time and price; these numbers are for perfect world scenarios with no obstacles encountered. Customer will be responsible for any additional time accrued as well as difference in pay rate if applicable.
- Warranty and insurance work performed by Blue Ridge RV is based on a labor rate of $175/hour. This rate includes our base labor rate plus costs to cover the administration time of part researching, ordering, filing of the claim with respective parties and payment tracking for the claim.
- As a small business with one tech, during the prime camping season, requests for warranty work may be declined due to the additional admin time required for each claim or the customer may seek reimbursement from the company on their behalf after paying up front for work completed. Please consult with your warranty provider prior to such.
